Soho Photo Gallery has developed a series of photography workshops with special focus on intermediate/advanced level instruction of short duration – based upon feedback from Soho Photo member photographers and extended communities of photographers surveyed earlier this year. Following our initial offerings for Spring 2020, we will expand the program for the Fall semester and subsequent years.
Workshop instructors will be recruited from our member photographers and guest photographers presenting on a variety issues related to the artistic and technical aspects of photography. Most classroom/lecture workshops will take place at Soho Photo Gallery; lab or studio work will be located offsite.
Workshop registration is now open to all photographers. Soho Photo Gallery members will enjoy a 20% discount on tuition. Prospective new members can review the benefits of membership and application process here.
Details on upcoming workshops can be found on our web site under the Workshops menu and the Events section on the home page – complete with schedule information, full descriptions and bios on the workshop leaders. Workshop registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; once full, a waitlist will be automatically created for each workshop. Payment is online via PayPal. Cancellations and refunds are accepted if received via email at least 10 days prior to scheduled start date for workshop.
New workshops will also be announced via email and social media. If you are not already on our email list, please sign-up. And, please follow us on social media – we’re on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin. There’s a sign-up form for email and follow links for social media in the right sidebar.
Soho Photo invites new workshop proposals from photographers with successful teaching experience. Please contact the program administrator using the contact form below.
