Soho Photo Gallery presents an illustrated lecture by Phyllis Galembo, the foremost photographic documentarian of masked tribal and religious ceremonies around the globe.

Phyllis’s travels have included Haiti, Mexico, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo and Brazil. She will include the history of Halloween costumes and its unique evolution in our country which has culminated in the greatest costumed festival ever – New York City’s own Halloween Parade.
