Truth can be told through fantasies that craft idealistic realities in an attempt to escape our lives. It can be found with us every day, manifested through our bodies and within our skin, and it can also be found in our heads – an invisible reality only the individual is witness to. 

Self-portraiture is an ability to reconcile the truth.
