Roberto Cavazzuti, RIMINI winter by the sea

Exhibition Dates: January 11- February 5

Rimini is my hometown but is also one of Italy’s touristic capitals. During the summer, a multitude of tourists come eager to enjoy the beach, the sea and one of the most developed entertainment industries in the world. An infinite stretch of parasols, chairs and tables defines a unique summer landscape.

With the holiday season now over, the beach empties itself, suddenly becoming more silent, intimate and melancholic. Human presence is rarefied, tire marks on the sand convey a feeling of temporary departure.

Walking on the seaside in the winter, sensing a place that is stuck in time.

Deep memories and souvenirs reemerge from inside.

Summer will return, as it always does.

The landscape will transform again in an endless restarting cycle.
